Does anyone make an ESD safe electric precision screwdriver?
« on: October 23, 2024, 03:51:09 pm »
I've been looking for an ESD safe electric precision screwdriver that accepts 4mm micro bits, but cannot find any.  I have a cheap Wow stick now that get's the job done, but it isn't ESD safe.  If possible I'd like to keep the price under $150.  Does anyone know of any on the market?

OP is talking about 4mm bits, and an electric driver

4mm manual is easily found: https://mm.digikey.com/Volume0/opasdata/d220001/medias/docus/2949/System%204%20Handles%2CMicro%20Bits.pdf Wiha 758 01. Electric is a different story.

Use 1/4" or HIOS if you can. Or not care about it because it probably doesn't matter as long as you are wearing a strap.

Are you sure wowstick is not ESD safe anyway? Have you measured the tip to handle resistance?
