Hakko fx 100 & Metcal hand pieces

Guys i want to buy for my self hakko fx 100 induction soldering station.
I don't really like the original hand-piece of this station,so can i use an metcal hand-piece with sttc cartriges and also MX-H2-UF handpiece?
can i do tht or not .....?
Im asking this ,because i've heard in some part of the net that is possible ,but i want the confirm from you guys .

I suspect you can, because I've done the exact opposite which works just fine: combined a used Metcal MX-500 station with a new Hakko FX-100's hand piece and holder.
