Andonstar AD407 - stand extension?

I recently bought one of microscopes and it is excellent.  With the supplied stand, the magnification is too high and I'd like to get the camera higher off the bench.  I haven't been able to find the rack and pinion mount they use - has anyone else looked at this and found a source for a longer stand?

I also recently purchased one, and quite like it.  I'm with you though, the stand is insufficient.  I would like to find an articulating arm for it.  I have searched all over Amazon but haven't found anything yet.  Will post back if I find something.  Good luck!
