Hi all! I've written software to fire the x-ray and snap pictures. Its tested on Ubuntu but may work on other systems. I've tested with both DC5 and DC12 as well as several x-ray hardware versions. The USB protocol is a little finicky...I've tried to iron out issues, but please let me know if there are still some lingering. Hope you enjoy!
