We was wondering why Fluke did not respond to Dave about the 87V GSM issue..

It looks that they found as good excuse the new safety regulations,
and they made one corporal document with the title :

Wonder if there will be some decent prices on the used 87s out there?   :D

BrickBoiler:
I Have a feeling that the "new" models will just be the same meters packaged with different test leads that meet the new CAT ratings.

qno:

I think they realized they can not compete with Gossen and Agilent with a 6000 or 19999 count meter.

Possibly you are correct,  but I bet that they will update the 87V(5)  & 83V(5) PCB too.
They found an gold opportunity to do that, with out getting noticed from the many.  ;D

But hey the document was created at 7 February, and become publicly known on April,
how came the Tweeter and Facebook, did not spread such news ?

Even me, I found it accidentally, by searching with the key words " Fluke accessories catalog 2011" !!   :P
