My wife bought a Hatch sound maker. Not a fan of IOT junk in general so I put it on it's own wifi network with separate vlan and throttled it to 2g speeds... but the network bandwidth shows it's continually transfering something.

I was looking at the FCC photos and noticed a strange unpopulated pad P1 with holes around it (see attached photo or https://fccid.io/2AFYZ-HBREST2/Internal-Photos/Internal-Photos-5375161).

Any guesses as to what it is for?

Edit: Those are neat connectors, might start using them for my own stuff.
