Looks interesting, maybe ill buy. I had a look at the seller only 29 stars, but also 100% positive feedback from private sales.

I think this is based on design that can be found online, with PIC 16F628.

If the build quality is decent, I believe it should suffice for hobby usage.

Well I was wondering about it. It does state you have to be careful and discharge it between measurements else it could blow up. But if the accuracy is there then  could be very interesting. No one actually used one?

I bought http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/320840062247?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2648#ht_1112wt_1163
and it's OK, a bit fiddly with the switches but OK in general.

I've got one of these -- it seems to work okay when tested against a bunch of inductors I had laying around the workshop.

It claims .1pF resolution, just putting your finger near the probes, or having long leads could vary the measurement, could it be that accurate?

So long and thanks for all the fish

There's a HP-6301 (Holdpeak) floating around ebay/amazon/etc. Quite cheap and seems to have better isolation and more "beef" compared to the others mentioned in this thread. Anyone has it?
