Kindle Fire Tear Down Website

The color version of the Kindle is meant to compete with the Barnes and Noble Nook, though both are Android OS tablets.  These are not general purpose like the Toshiba Thrive and Samsung Galaxy.  The Toshiba Thrive allows owner to change its battery in the future.  Surf here for some Amazon Kindle Fire tear down with the rear cover removed:
