Crimping Plier For Round Insulated Terminal
« on: Yesterday at 12:56:39 pm »
Hi, I want to buy a crimping plier for the below terminals.
I am between the knipex 97 52 37 (this I beleive is the right) and 97 52 36. Does a guy know which is the correct?

I would say 97 52 36 is the correct insert, the terminals linked to do not seem to be the heat shrink variant which would require - 37
The difference would be that the non heat shrink inserts would not make a too strong bend in the insulation, so that that will not be damaged upon shrinking after crimping.
36 would probably leave 2 quite sharp edges on the top side after crimping.
Most important is of course the quality of the crimp of the metal part.
