I recently purchased a 1204B wire bonder at an auction and it seems to be missing a bunch of parts. In particular, it's missing whatever these two cables plug into. Any idea what this might be? My impression is it might be an NEFO supply, judging from some pictures, the Uthe 228-1, but I can't find any for sale. Can it operate without the NEFO supply? It looks like the NEFO supply is an option -- can it use an internal EFO supply, or does the NEFO supply option remove the internal EFO supply?
How complex are these NEFO supplies? Could you build one? Could you adapt one from another wire bonder?

I have a fully functional 1204w wedge bonder (considered trying to upgrade it to ball bonding). From what I know, the external 228 is optional. Good luck finding one, but if you look at what the supply actually does, it would be straightforward to create your own. Both mei and uthe are still around I think, and are likely more than happy to sell you parts (for a premium, I'm sure)
Let me know if you need any pictures of the assemblies. Of note, your dampers are probably dried out. I found using high-quality oil was able to bring them back to life. Not so relevant for a ball bonder, but I found for my wedge bonder using light bulb filament to clean the tips worked quite well.
