a stupid question

ahh I got my RIGOL DS1052E and I want to know is there any procedure for turning off this thing?is it ok to just turn off by on/off switch? I mean its kind of hard shut down right? wonder whether there are any things I need to do before pressing the off button  :-\

I would remove the USB flash drive if I had the Rigol. Look in the manual for instructions on how to do it.
