Title: morse-code ribbon cable (for lack of a better description)

any idea where i can find this cable ( on 100m rolls. preferrably on ebay )

No luck on ebay. I looked for the product on Taobao and found out that it is referred to as UL2468 or 2468-26. I have no experience with this seller (just picked a random one).

this is cheaper than colored ribbon cable and easier to make. the marking is just an ink squirter.
note that this cable is NOT 2.54mm pitch ! it is not for double row idc connectors but for those single line crimp connectors like JST PH XH and likes. It is a 2mm pitch.
this is used to make harnesses. you split off the wires one end can have  a 16 pin and a 4 pin and the other side a bunch of 3 pins , 4 pins or whatever. they are commonly used in TV and audiovisual equipment to interconnect circuit boards.

i want to use them in a 3d printer. i have a large 20 pin on one side and then a bunch of 2 3  4and 5 pins on the other end going to various elements.  the striping makes it easy to keep follow the wires...
