Need help grounding my DJ gear.

Hey guys I recently got some DJ gear, however the problem is there is a small grounding knob at the back and I have no idea what to connect it to. Please help me out, thanks!

My son has one of these Audioline MDEX3 units as well. The unit is double insulated and has no safety gound connection. This little thumbscrew is for attaching the shield wire of your external turntables if you use the phono option.

The ground lug is a relic  of ancient times.
Then, when you where hearing some "buzz" from the speakers, you started to wire the ground lugs  together, in any order, trying to kill the "buzz".
I think that now it  has no more reason of being there, if not for some analog turntable..

The DJ unit has phono inputs and RIAA preamps, switchable from the line inputs. The GND is still required with these low level sources, unless you are using a properly balanced phono stage, which are very uncommon.
Was it really supposed to do that?
