New version of the DSN-VC288 dual voltage and current meter
« on: February 11, 2024, 01:57:57 pm »
I bought several of those commonly available red and blue voltmeter and ammeter combined panel meters for a project but like the old DSN-VC288 they are inaccurate and have problems. They look similar to the older model but these have no model number on them at all. The PCB design is different but appears to use the same microcontroller.

I managed to find one out of 5 that I could adjust to give fairly accurate readings. Surely they are not still as bad as the older ones? Anyone have any opinions on them that they still are a load of wank? I mean they are cheap, yes but you want something that actually does what it's supposed to.

I did a video of them here https://youtu.be/xB0l7s7tDik if anyone wants to look.
