I'd tell you not to come into work after that dogs breakfast. Looks nothing like the C210 either. Both these statements are factually checked for accuracy.

Looks like the same layout to me, but OK, I'll see if I can clean up the heater coil area.

Also, while clicking through the Pace website to try and find more detail (without success) on the Plus upgrade, I came across this news post: https://paceworldwide.com/news/mbt450-rework-system-available-summer

The MBT450 is real! It was originally promised years ago(...)
It should have been released this summer but it was delayed again. They probably want to release a bug-free mature product.

That ended up getting released as the MBT 360.

I have a Pace ADS200 with FW1.2 and I think I may want to upgrade that to a later one.
Is this a reasonable thing to do, and how do I go about it?

I bought it from Welectron in Germany january 2019.

Contact Pace support, tell them you have FW1.2 and have issues with it and would like to be shipped FW1.3. They will have to send you a IC to swap out. You can click print at the top of this thread and search then read about it.
Whether they will ship it for free or not, I don't know.

That would be 1.4 or later, don't ask for 1.3.

It turns out Pace has a European rep, Factronix.
They have offered to help me out with the FW upgrade.
So, hopefully all will be sorted in a little while.

If you are looking to replace the firmware yourself read Paces instructions. In addition I wrote an easy guide without disconnecting the internal cables. You just rotate the front panel slightly on a folded cloth.

Let us know what's the latest version. I got mine a couple of years ago and it has 1.5

I just got my ADS200 Plus with FW 1.6.
Does anyone have a link to the correct manual for this hw and fw version?
All I can find at Pace is a manual for ADS200 and fw 1.4.

A couple of questions about the ADS200:

Has anybody tried retrofitting a setback microswitch on a non-isb handset cubby?
My new ads200 came with a non-isb cubby

And does anybody know what connector type is used for the handset power and control cable?

It's been done. Google for the pinout.

You just mean what the handpiece connector is? Amphenol C091B is what they use, Binder 678 series is compatible.

Thanks for the connector type!

About the isb retrofit: I was looking for some practical info on how to choose a microswitch  and how to make a durable mount.

OK fair enough.

Please let us know if you notice any considerable improvement on the plus version.

I seem to remember that someone mentioned spare parts for theTD-200 handpiece. An o-ring that was involved in holding the tip cartridge in place, an o-ring that could easily be lost or worn down.
I tried searching but to no avail.

The part number from Pace is 1213-0090-P5 (O-rings for TD-100, TD-100A, or TD-200, qty 5).
You should also be able to find an equivalent based on its measurements. I think it is a Viton-type fluoropolymer rubber.

Sorry if this is already addressed but is the ADS200 Plus the same as what sellers such as TEquipment sell as simply the ADS200?  Thanks

Thank you!
My local supplier is getting a bag or two for me as I write.

The Pace web site is not very impressive and it is sometimes a bit of a challenge to find info.

To find items like this bag of o-rings one can search for "replacement" in the search field of the web site home page.
There is no obvious way to actually know if that search gets you a truly exhaustive list of spare parts.

At my local supplier the plus unit is listed as plain ADS200. The part number is, I think, different.
