For hobby use, need to buy an optical two-eye microscope for SMD assembly for size at imperial 0603 0402 and 0201. Likely imperial 0402 will be the main application. imperial 0201 may be used i n small number of "tight area". A small number of components, like bigger capacitor, are imperial 0603 (or occasionally even bigger)
1. Would it be good to get a continuously optical zoom version (instead of changing lens at fixed magnification range)
2. What magnification fit imperial 0402 and 0201? Web searches show some at 5 to 35 magnification. Good?
3. Would 10 inches, 250mm distance from base to microscope a fair value for enough space for the PCB and human hand with soldering iron doing assembly?
4. How about one or two horizontal "arm tubing"? Is "two arm" more stable, less vibration, for imperial 0402 and 0201 work?
many thanks
