Pace MBT-200 pinout and mods
« on: December 09, 2013, 11:51:18 am »
Anyone here have the pinout for the Pace MBT-200 desoldering station? I've pretty (almost) much figured it out except for one. Pin 5 activates the vacuum function when shorted to ground), pin 4 is ground, pin 3 carries the 24 VAC output, and the last one, Pin 1...I don't really have an idea at all. There could be two things -- either it 'grounds' the tip or it controls the 24v output. Pins 2 and 6 are not occupied - they are for Sensatemp (MBT-250?) control only, as far as I know.

Will post more details as soon as I get off work.
Random fact: Ernest Hemingway killed himself with a shotgun bought at Abercrombie & Fitch.
