Wera Screwdrivers - Made in Czech Republic?

I have some Wera screwdrivers for more than 10 years and they are still in very good condition.

Recently I was looking for a torx screwdriver set. I already have L-shaped torx wrenches but I now would like to have screwdriver-type ones.
I found some Wera sets that I liked, but then I noticed "Made in Czech Republic".

Does anyone have experience/comments on Wera's Czech tools?

Wera is a privately held company and employs more than 750 people. Wera Tools designs and manufactures more than 3,000 tools for both manual and power tool applications at its German headquarters and its factory in the Czech Republic.

Used them before some years ago, they are good screwdrivers, nothing to really say against it. The tips endure a lot of use, without loose of quality or breakage/damage.

Never had any problem with anything Czech. Not known in the states, but they manufacture decent cars/trucks, locomotives, small airplanes, jet engines, etc. Used to have good electronics industry, R&S has a factory there now too.

Yes, I know that they had well developed industry before the Second World War. They even had several car and truck companies then (Jawa, Skoda, Tatra and probably some other I don't know). I was asking because I am not familiar with any of their tools. I guess the quality will be controlled by Wera anyway.

I have a set of Wera screwdrivers that are "Made in Czech Republic".
Top notch quality and as good as my older set. No difference.

Everyone now has a manufacturing (mind you, not much R&D) plant in the Czech Republic, as CZ is typical with its quite low labor cost and quite low salaries with one of the biggest overall taxing.

So R&S manufacturing plant here is no surprise.

And for the jobs where labor price is so low that CZech people do not want to work anymore, there are loads of Ukrainian, Bulgarian and Romanian people always ready to get those jobs.
