It seems that some tells its EU plug and some AU plug in the Q/A section.
Ive contacted Quck-Global Europe and asked about the model numbers.

857DW+ and 957DW+ are the same units except 957DW+ are for North America only.
D stands for Digital and W+ stands for inner motor fan assembly.
Those models does not come with an CE certification that we have here in Europe.
The only models that come with CE certification that are similiar to this is 706W and 861DW

Is it a concern that 857DW+ does not come with CE certificate?

My Quick DW857+ arrived today. Took about a week to get here from Czeck Republic.
Did came with UK-plug though and no adapter. So i cant use it.

My questions is. Is it recommended to open the case and look and see so there is no components fallen out/unscrewed themself or any other unsafe stuff?
Do some safety checks.

Another question is. What to do about the cable/plug? Is it possible to replace the whole cable? disconnect on the inside or something for a more OEM look?
or is the only way to chop the plug off and solder in a new one and use shrink tube and stuff.. what a mess.
For me it would be nicest and best if i could just replace the whole cable since i can order them. 1-2m EU schucko.

Do some safety checks.
Do you internally check every piece of equipment you buy? This is not different than other equipment.

Did came with UK-plug
It's a Chinese plug similar/compatible with Australian plug. UK plug is entirely different.

It is possible but is it worth?

If you want it not messy, likely you will need to crimp new connectors, not solder.

Yes, for me it is worth it to just replace the whole cable.

Can you not just buy plugs to install on whatever cord you have? Here in any hardware store you will find a selection of replacement plugs, I had assumed the same was true virtually anywhere.
