i don`t know the pinout, but if you`re wanting to watch tv in other rooms with one of the new sky boxes you`ll need a link modulator.

Sky sell them on their accessories page for £25

I want to make one, actually I only need the remote signal shoved up my coax, but Ill guess Ill need to do a tear down and work out the signals, only issue is I kind of failed the EEV rules as I already turned it on.

Yes they are.If you call cutomer support and threaten to leave you might be able to squeeze one of those global io boxes out of them.

And there is another problem, currently I have 2 TV's and apparently the signal isn't strong enough and especially if the coax is quite long, anyway I cant wait 2 weeks until they think they will have stock again.

you could try a signal amplifier ,but it shouldnt be used with cable less than 30 metres .

I dont think the signal is the main issue its the low power in the 9v line, but I am not sure without having one.

Its going to be quicker to make one to suit my needs.

Can you keep us up to date if you work this out?

I'm not sure the modulator is internal, I have a feeling it's actually built into the IO Link box.
