Quick TR1300 and TS Series
« on: January 15, 2018, 02:43:11 am »

Seens like a new product and no reviews on the internet, still is avaliable to buy.
Does anyone know what this?

Power: 1300W
With temperature alarm function
Voltage: 220V
Temperature range 100~500°C
Temperature stability ±2°C
Air volume 6-70L / Min

More power than 861DW with same temperature but less airflow?
Easy to replace handpiece with 3 models (Small, Medium, Large)

Also they released new soldering stations

TS1200 look like T12 tips but sure not compatible

Checked around, and the Output Power for the TR1300 is only 1kW. So compared to the 861DW, the power output is the same.

Airflow differs a bit, as it's only 100lpm for the TR1300 vs. 120lpm for the 861DW.

They also use different UI's and stands. And in the case of the TR1100 or TR1300, they can apparently interchange between the 180W micro handle and the full sized 1kW handle (remove the two Allen screws that hold the hose on, and just unplug the power connector inside, and swap it for whichever you want). The TR1300 also comes with a foot switch (TR1100 doesn't for some reason).

And then there's pricing (EU pricing, US pricing).

Here's a couple of YT videos I found on the TR1300:

Video for the TS1300 Solder Station (definitely uses cartridge tips, but don't appear to be the same as the T12).

I also saw that videos, but no proper review... Flicker may be solved :D
But the specs float arround website per website.
They look good and modern station, but performance will matter more to me.
Hope near in the future someone do a Quick TR1300 VS 861DW

I want to see if this thing (the iron, not the hot air) can solder bus bars and thick, large ground planes. If it can, it could well be a JBC HDE killer.
I absolutely love our lab's HDE at work, but I can't justify the cost for buying one for home use. If the TS series has similar performance, I will definitely grab one.

For the price it worth the try, also you got ersa i-tool HP at good price for home (250W)

Has anyone purchased the TS1200 or any other iron in the TS series? I'm considering buying one to upgrade from my FX888D.

Old thread but thought I'd post it here as there's very little info on the TR1300 anywhere on the net. I took the plunge and got one from Union Repair. No foot switch supplied and I can't see anywhere one would plug in. The wand turns on automatically when removed from the stand, and turns off when replaced (same as Quick 861DW). Heats up fast, and air flow/temp is quite consistent. Comes with 3 standard straight nozzles, but supports the angled nozzles for the 861DW station as well. User manual was completely in Chinese, so had to get them email a copy of the English manual. Storing user presets isn't quite as easy as the 861DW, but relatively straightforward to set up once you're in the menu. Great station, but not sure how this is better than the 861DW other than being stackable and having the wand interchangeable with the smaller one of the TR1100.

I don't know if OP is saying he's sure they're not compatible or not sure they are compatible but...

I was looking at the TS1200 and I'd only be interested if they were compatible with Hakko tips (T12/T15) because of the availability and wide selection.

Does anyone know for sure?

The TS series uses JBC stuff directly. According to reviews out now. Summarized in said review - the pen / tip that it comes with almost DEMANDS replacement with JBC parts. The power at 140W will drive hot tweezers.

Yes Would be interesting to see or get a confirmation if JBC hand pieces and tips are compatible with the TS Series.
