Quicko T-12 952 soldering station strange behavior.

Hi,

I would appreciate some help from anyone who owns the Quicko T-12 952 soldering station (with integrated power suply).

The power station is switched off (power cord plugged in, the station switch is turned off). After a few minutes the station switches itself on and off for one to two seconds.   This is repeated several times over several minutes.  I suppose it might be a matter of discharging the capacitors but I'm wondering if anyone noticed similar behavior?
