Replacing an Antex TC50 heating element

(1/1)

Watth:
Hey there,
I need to replace the heating element (EL20080) on my ANTEX solder and rework station's (760RWK) iron (TC50).
I ordered the new part, and in the mean time am trying to remove the old one. The thing is after removing both screws, I could pull the cable's strain relief without a problem. But the heating element seems to be stuck.
Of course, I couldn't find anything helpful on Antex' website.
It could have been because I used it on quite a high temperature (up to 450°C) to melt the enamel insulation on magnetic wires and some parts got stuck against each other.

So has anyone already made this part change on an equivalent model from Antex?
Is there a step I'm missing, a bit to nudge, pull/push, twist to free the heating element?

SteveyG:
I seem to recall just pushing hard. I don't think there was anything else that needed to be done.

Watth:
I contacted Antex, and they confirm it should simply be pulled out by holding the metal shaft. It doesn't move. The plastics may have warped...
