The CDP1802 is a wonderful chip.

It has 16 registers 16 bit each, and then it has a 4 bit register which tells you which register is the program counter right now

I am discovering these have a bit of a following in the retro computer comuity. I wonder if I should pillage it from the device & use it in a project. Seems a little mnore advanced than the usual 8-bit CPU's like the Z80 or the 6502.

i like how they drew a little moon and sun on it. i wonder if the version for nuclear rounds has something like this
