Tektronix 2225 Probe Adjust
« on: September 24, 2011, 01:34:58 am »
Hi!

I've got a Tektronix 2225 and something seems a little odd :
The probe adjust signal is a negative pulse square wave (from 0 to -0.5 V).

Can anyone tell me if this is normal? In his review, Dave only tests the probe adjust on AC coupling...

Thanks,
Greetings,
Mat

Have you checked if the channel has invert enabled?
Greek letter 'Psi' (not Pounds per Square Inch)

I remember that this happened on both channels and there is no invert on channel 1.

Don't worry, my 2225 is doing the same.

OK thanks!! One less thing to fix on this scope!

I am waiting for a power switch (only the black plastic rod going from the front to the mains input board on the back) and some missing case screws.

When I receive them, I'll post some pics!
Because you know what Dave says on the EEVblog : Don't turn it on, take it apart!!!

TheEENerd : Thanks again!

You r welcome. I picked up my 2225 locally here in Sydney. Got it calibrated, and now waiting for some new accessories.
