The crashing of CHINA TIANGONG1 "space object"
« on: March 30, 2018, 02:29:10 am »
a post about "other equipment and products" ... a huge 1 me thinks.

there are many news about things crashing lately, cars, stocks, etc. but this 1 takes the cake me thinks

space object tracking site.

ESA re-entry prediction
http://blogs.esa.int/rocketscience/2018/03/26/tiangong-1-reentry-updates/

aerospace.org prediction
http://www.aerospace.org/cords/reentry-predictions/tiangong-1-reentry/
this prediction drags crash point to 4th april

it is funny, as prediction states 1st april as projected re-entry. lets hope nobody becomes a landing pad.
it would be a weird feeling if it lands right back into CHINA itself as in the next 24hrs, CHINA is part of the re-entry path
total object mass 8.5tons, prediction of mass that will survive re-entry = 20% (1.7tons !)
australia falls in the riskier edges (see risk pic)

lets see if anyone catches the re-entry videos  :P

UPDATE
it has re-entered, and its gone
2018/04/02 00:16 UTC/GMT (abt 2 hrs ago). Reentry occurred in the Pacific Ocean. NW of TAHITI. looks like it is very fragile, everything is gone on re-entry.

Many years ago (1979) Skylab suffered the same fate of an uncontrolled re-entry. Debris ended up landing in Western Australia, and the town Esperance fined NASA $400 for littering.

Let's see if China will get fined this time  :-DD

If any of the parts have copper, silver and gold...there won't be any 'litter' to worry about  ;D

$400? meh, i can pay the fine with condition they send me the debris to wherever i want to. i believe there will be resell value from some illuminati organizations, or i can just do an exhibition site i think i can gain even more. anyway imho this should be in general section thread.

I'm directly in the flight path, it crosses within 50km of me 3 times during the current prediction window. With the middle being within 20 minutes of where they are converging.

The middle one actually crosses me by 5km

I have brought my camera. My photo drone is on charge, the car is full of petrol, And begun an offsite backup of my data.

Not familiar with any in the area. If there are i imagine they would be grouping near the suburb of maitland. As that is closer to the center point of all 3,

Still if anyone wants to invite me to see there telescope i wont object.

the wise thing is to separate into several groups in probabilities of impact because the first one to touch it will claim ownership, if it just happen they are not around and some aboriginals are there, then its a goner.
