I have searched and not found an answer here or by browsing manufacturers. I suspect the answer is no.
I live in Australia now, 240V AC mains, but work may take me to 100V or 115V places for a few years. If I want to upgrade my soldering station (discontinued Hakko 942, tips out of production) will I need to buy new soldering equipment there and I have it for just those few years? Is there a system I could buy into now that I can take with me? Or do any of the manufacturers offer reasonably priced parts to convert their stations?
I'm looking at under $1000.
