transfromer information

I am trying to build a transformer tester I use a lot of transformers need to be able to test each pin at a time If any body have any ideas. I would appreciate any help I can get

What type of transformers do you want to test? Mains power transformers? Audio transformers? Pulse transformers? And roughly what voltage and current ratings do these transformers have? We need a bit more information before we can give you a good answer.

They are power transformers and audio. The voltages ranges from 12vac to 120vac. I am testing for shorts and resistance.

Easiest is a regular transformer with a secondary of 12VAC and 3VAC, with a series incandescent lamp of 12V 0.1A and 3V 0.2A to limit current. this is connected to any winding and then you measure the assorted outputs to get the ratios using an AC voltmeter. The lamps are there to do current limiting in case there is a shorted winding.
