search Jbc clone soldering station
« on: October 30, 2023, 05:46:24 pm »
Hello, I am looking for a soldering station for micro soldering, smartphone, tablet and console with a budget of 400 to 600 €
According to my research, a double with T115 and T210 would be good but it seems to me that two separate stations could be cheaper, for T245 my ewig power 50W was just enough.
Metcal and Jbc are expensive so a copy with original Jbc T115 and T210 could be good.
I saw these two stations: Aixum T420d and Aifen A902 it says that we can use T115 T210 and T245 but can we use the original Jbc?
According to my research I don't see any other stations where we can use the 3 Ts?
Can you guide me in my research?

There are mechanic brand which have one model which support all of three 210 245 and 115. But i havent seen any review. Steve also have review about mechanic c211, but he didnt answer of question in yt comment section. Lol. If you have money, i guess the aixun t420d is a good way to go. Havent heard any issue till now

My problem is that I understand English very poorly so even watching the videos I can't get a real idea of the material.
For the 211 mechanic I keep it as an option, I like less the fact of unplugging each time we want to change hands, I am afraid that over time the plug will be damaged.
You say the t420d has an overshoot problem, are you talking about temperature overshoot? As on Aifen A902, we can't correct it with for example a Hakko 191?
Can you guide me in my research by telling me which single or double stations are really compatible with the original JBC hands?

You can use cc auto translate option in the youtube.
Yeah. Overshoot temperature.
I actually didnt have any jbc clone station at moment. But i plan to buy one. The aifen a902 can use jbc tip, and have good performance. But the original tip of aifen is have poor performance based on the steve video.
I thought the multi handle station only aixun t420d, the aifen/sugon and the mechanic prime.
Maybe if you not update the t420d firmware, it wouldnt have overshoot problem

Quickly I need a station for micro soldering so T210 - T215
After having looked around a bit more I'm thinking of going towards these:

-Aixum T3b which is only for the T210-T115 hand, for the T245 it is the T3a
Advantage: the tips can be removed hot - T115 or 210 support, buffer, sponge supplied with it.
Disadvantage: problem of overheating - the handle can heat up to 40° without additional protective foam.
PCB less well designed than the Ksger (power connector with play...)
To be confirmed: I don't believe that we can use the original Jbc handles?
-Ksger T12
Advantage: Cfw with stm32 chip - The cheapest -
Disadvantage: hot tip change worse than the T3a
To be confirmed: Original Akko tips can be used
I'm having trouble identifying the tips (D24 - they - j02 -K - Ku) that are needed for micro welding? (equivalent to T115 and T 210)
I think T12 b and j are equal to T115 - T12 d are equal to T210 and T12 k are equal to 245?
There is version v3.1s but it has MM32 chip saying same firmware and same function with STM32
For the handles, which ones do you recommend for the equivalent of T210? and T115? (the aluminum ones apparently heat up a lot)

I think. T12 not suitable for microsoldering. Cause the tip to the grip distance is too big. The t12 tips also didnt perform really well for soldering small 0201 ceramic caps(big size, need higher temp).
The t210 is good for almost any soldering job. The t115 only only suit for soldering in something like phone board which have really small component.

Afaik, all jbc clone couldnt use original jbc handle

For the Ksger T12 there is version v3.1s but it has an MM32 chip saying the same firmware and the same function with STM32.
Can we use CFW on this one? and the same tips as v2?
I read a lot about CFW, green and blue PCBs... Is there a t12 version to favor and trusted stores on AliExpress?

I am in the same situation you are in.  I haven't received my KSGER yet, when I do, I can flash the firmware and can tell you if it's real STM32 chip or not.  The MM32 chip is not compatible with CFW.  The fake/clone STM32 chips can work but they have bugs and problems.
