Just searching for something else and a load of these came up at £30-50 and I can't read German

I can't even find the page I found earlier.  None of the adverts etc actually say what it is although I gather it is some kind of interface to allow external control of other things over GPIB....

It's a IEEE/IEC interface for some instrument. The back has connector for GPIB (IEEE) and power connector (IEC). The instrument sits on top of the 2101 and connects through a female DE9 connector mounted on top of the 2101. I doubt they route 230V through the DE9, so the 2101 must contain the power supply for the instrument.

It interfaces GPIB to a digital Philips system bus protocol called "system 21"
Never heard of it before must be very obsolete.
