What tips are these?
« on: March 27, 2021, 02:10:18 pm »
I have a HQ SOLDER/30 soldering station. My dad bought me tips when he gave it to me in present but has since then lost the packaging and he don't remember what tips it was.

I have found these that looks the same but they have 2 different sizes. Are any of these correct? I BELIVE the packaging said Velleman not sure tho

The tips you linked look closer to Hakko 900M or T18 clones, your models tips are longer so it's not a match.

Look where the station was made, likely it's some rebranded chinese brand. I used this in google  HQ-SOLDER/IR TIP which gave me SOLDER_TIP3 so you can use SOLDER_TIP2 etc. Apparently HQ-SOLDER/IR is the handpiece for the HQ-SODLER20/30. IR must mean iron replacement.

Here are a few tip sources:

Keep searching and try higher numbers you might find a different one but a lot of chinese stations have very limited tip ranges (aside from the designs they copied from Hakko). Also look at the wattage of your station and search on aliexpress.com and dhgate.com etc (chinese websites) for "48w soldering station" etc, you might find it under other brand names. You can also try looking under google images as well when you get it a hit, sometimes it yields good links to sellers.

To thank posts, there is a little thumb button "say thanks".
