We take a look at the Alinco DR-570 that has no UHF receive.
This is a common problem with these radios due to there is no front end protection.
Strong signals causes front end overload and destroys the first RF amp.
We will look at an old circuit to prevent this failure.
For more troubleshooting on this particular radio have a look at TRXBench video on this radio where he has a similar issue with the VHF.
