Just as a sanity check :)
I'm designing a PLL board to be manufactured on OSH Park's 4 Layer service.
I need to get a 2.5 - 8 GHz signal onto the board through an aluminium wall.
I'm planning on using these connectors:

The connector pin width is 0.25 mm which fits nice on the 50R trace width on pcb (0.37 mm).
I'm assuming a standard taper transition should do the trick...
Any gotcha's I should be aware of?
Thanks,
Thomas

How about those right angle sma jacks which solder/mount directly to the board.

You can also find a bulkhead type like this one here:

The latter is a bit pricey though. :-\
After that, you could then put a transmission line going to your board/device/component.

I know and use that type often. They are however a major pain to mount in a milled enclosure (the pcb is mounted flat in the enclosure base for heatsinking)
