Title: Bluetooth stack tutorial beyond basics
Post by: ah_l on September 05, 2017, 12:52:53 pm
Hello,

Can anyone suggest a good up-to-date literature, video lectures etc. on the Bluetooth stack that is beyond basic stuff?

I have been doing some simple Bluetooth related projects for a while, and have no problem using BT in my embedded projects, for example, to communicate between MCU and some PC app using Bluetooth SPP. However,  I get fuzzy as quickly as you can when talking about more in-depth stuff like protocols (RFCOMM, L2CAP, etc.), operation details (pairing, scans, connection invocation, multiple connections), security, packet construction, optimal sending conditions, etc. Also I have very limited knowledge regarding newer implementations such as BLE.

In other words, I'm in search for a resource that would help to get information that is required to implement BT in a proper end-user product not just one off prototype.
