Can I source the Beken BK4819 radio IC somehow?
(1/1)
rf-fil:
I'd love the design a radio off of BK4819. It's the chip used in most recent cheap radios. The chip is not that bad, with some extra filtering added. However, Beken are not responding to my emails.. Excuse my naivete, but is there a way to source these, in small quantities, lets' say 1k - 10k, when outside of China?
Kean:
When sourcing this kind of part, you will likely need to find a buying agent in China to handle the purchase. Ideally someone with technical knowledge.
If you can find the parts on a Chinese marketplace like Taobao or Tmall then you can try using Superbuy as the buying agent. I've used it a couple of times without issue, but they won't be able to help with any technical details.
Maybe there is someone on this forum who can suggest a reputable contact in China. Otherwise, look for a seller of components on AliExpress and ask them if they can help.
ftg:
BK4819 is available in small quantities on Aliexpress.
But some more reliable broker than random Aliexpress seller might be desirable.
I have other projects that I want to get done before making my own BK4819 based modules, so I'm yet to see what I get when I order some BK4819's from ali.
The QFN BK4811's I ordered seem fine.
