Hi,
On Github I published a project with a detailed description of the workings of a Pulse Train FM Detector. This is accompanied by a mathematical model, implemented in a Jupyter notebook with which experiments can be done. In the pdf document also a possible improvement is mentioned, together with some preliminary experimental results.
The project can be found at https://github.com/kvdijken/Pulse-Train-FM-Detector. (https://github.com/kvdijken/Pulse-Train-FM-Detector.)
The main document (pdf) of this project is attached to this message.
This FM detector is also used in an actual FM receiver designed and built by myself. There is a github project for the receiver, at https://github.com/kvdijken/FM-Receiver. (https://github.com/kvdijken/FM-Receiver.) I have a demonstration video of this FM receiver on youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TlIiLwKdwg0&t=1s. Greetings and have fun, Koen
