Help needed: CMS1070 3.4-3.7 GHz 20W Fet amplifier
« on: January 15, 2025, 11:15:55 am »
So time ago I obtained  a 20W FET-Amplifier module manufactired by AR worldwide (Bothell, WA 98011, USA)

Specified frequency range 3,4 to 3,7 GHz, 20W, 21dB gain,  +12V DC supply via a 7W2 mixed sub-d  connector.

The 7W2 sub-d connector has marked +/- pins  and 5 additional control pins.

As I assume that more of these amplifier modules may have found their way into ham shacks  I wonder if anybody is using such an amplifier modul and has  information about the funtion of the control pins.

I have not (yet) opened the housing....

You will most likely need to open the housing and take pictures for us to figure out what the voltages should be.

The chances of causing any damage are probably zero since it probably just has a PCB inside.
