Looking for Feedback and Suggestions to Improve RF Design Tools
« on: October 21, 2024, 04:37:33 am »
Hey, I've got these new RF tools and I'd appreciate any feedback. I would like to improve the tools with your suggestions.

Tools for Transceiver Design:

Thank you very much for any kind of feedback.

You probably need a calculator for GCPW since that's also fairly common, especially for PCB designs.

I don't see calculator for RF inductors/transformers which allows to select core material, core shape and size, wire material and thickness, frequency and calculate inductance, saturation amplitude, heating and max power transfer

The design tools look great and intuitive. Could you add a tool that calculates the total SNR of ADC and DAC depending on clock jitter, number of bits, aperture, clock frequency and analog bandwidth?

Thank you very much for your valuable feedback, which we really appreciate. We are planning on extending our PCB transmission line design tools soon with CPW, GCPW, slotline, and coplanar strips, for which we have the models ready.

We also like your pretty good idea regarding the total SNR of ADC and DAC. We will finish our I/Q signal category first and then we will have a look into the SNR of ADC and DAC.
