Resolved.
Found that setting stop frequency < 1 GHz eg 900 MHz stops freezing behaviour.

Useful info thanks. Did you contact Owon for any FW update? Might be worth it.
They mighty actually fix something that should not be happening..
Considering purchase one for myself.
