Title: SAW BP filter proven manufacturer

Hi folks! Any has experience with SAW filters for VHF manufacturer?

I had a bad experience with one, ask to delivery a custom filter and was lost money: a lot of pass band ripple, poor high band attenuation, etc.

well, how much worse was it then the commercial filter of the closest type. then you know if you got ripped off, are working with people outside of their skill range, or if its just hard.

They likely have a test based on a common expected application, likely for telecom, that maybe is not super nice

Well, I know muRata is a very good SAW filter manufacturer with very careful process control and testing to spec.  Not sure if their parts are available in low volume.
