Likely it's a molded rubber piece with a backing pad that makes contact with the PCB directly, and not a replaceable mechanical switch. Replacing the board that it's on is an option, but you'll likely get the results you want cleaning the PCB and under the button plastic, then checking for cracked traces running to and from it. There's a chance something about the latch the soft power button drives or the debounce circuits have some problem or cracked solder joints - it shouldn't be too hard to trace around.
If you clean it and don't see damage, you could probe the output of the switch to see where the fault is too. And of course, if it's under warranty.... just send it in. Opening it up at all will void that, so don't attempt a fix if it's going to be covered.
