can a stabilock si 4015 be used to align an ssb transceiver or only am+fm?.

Hi the former Silicone what ever chips are support officially only AM, FM but there are some hacks.
I toughy about use them as cheap SDR Style to Monitor some Short Wave Frequency 24/7.

If you mean the RF test set, you can use CW signals from the generator for RX testing. And AM is just two SSB signals and a carrier.

And if you modulate the TX  with an audio tone, the TX can be measured.
