What can be used instead of MRF559 transistor

(1/1)

zeino:

Does anyone have an idea what transistor can be used instead of MRF559 which is discontinued. Googled it and I found someone saying freescale produced itfor while but freescale is also bought and there is no more info regarding this piece.

TheSteve:
Try rfparts.com - they appear to have them in stock.

You can get MRF559 on ebay. Though better to avoid Chinese sellers as counterfeits are possible.

Thanks for the replies, I bought them from RFparts. I hope they are real. I saw it on ebay. I wanted to avoid it totally and go for equivalent but I can not find any document that shows what has been produced instead. I know Freescale bough the Motorolla and himself got bought but I expected something on the net about the obsolete parts but it seems it is not so.
