I have a commercial product currently using the now obsolete Melexsis TH7122.1 for a 13.5MHz receiver.
My requirements are 100kbit BW(2FSK with +-30kHz deviation), <150uS from sleep to RX RSSI out, operate from 2.7v to 3.3v @ < 10mA, -100dBm sensitivity.
It seems all the semi integrated FM receiver chips that can work sub 180MHz are now gone.
I've cheked out
Chip | Maker | Issue |
SA615 | NXP | Discontinued |
TH7122 | Melexis | Discontinued |
Si407x | Skyworks | Commercial FM Only. Only 15kHz BW Out |
Si48xx | Skyworks | Commercial FM Only. Only 15kHz BW Out |
TEF665X | NXP | $$ and >100mA |
SAF3600 | NXP | $$ and > 500mA |
CC series | TI | Only >180MHz |
AX5043 | OnSemi | Discontinued |
I know I can build a receiver discretely, but its a lot more work, expense and board real estate. Any suggestions?
