Can you post some videos on educational A-l-t-i-u-m tutorials?

has as such no relation to if it's his job or not.

But I deliberately choose not to do anything Altium specific due to a work related conflict of interest.

If you're looking for video tutorials on the YouTube site is very interesting.
From the schematic to the PCB and finally to printing.

why not trry one of the free packages like KiCAD ? or are you going into commercial usage ?
