Rigol Mode Suggestion (Mod a DS1104B)
« on: November 20, 2010, 11:04:54 pm »
Dave,

For your next video figure out how to mod a Rigol DS1104B to the non existent E model. Put more acquisition memory in it so it would be a 4 channel version of the DS1102E.

How about a mod for the DS1000 series that turns the rear BNC connector to a trigger out signal? That way you can use the scope to trigger an external device like a logic analyzer for example. Much more useful than the mask feature.

if you follow the whole process, then you'll know its not as easy as making a pudding.
