Could you do a bolg on all the different styles of transistors out there?

I feel like there's a lot of different transistors out there. The most common types used today are fairly well covered in several videos on youtube. I'd love to see Dave do a video on them, but I doubt he'd spend the time on it when there's plenty of resources out there atm.
