(UK) - Can anyone spare some 'scope probes - even basic ones?
« on: December 08, 2022, 04:45:15 am »
Hi everyone.

I was evicted back in July (horrible experience, lots of back story, but no sob story) - I've managed to just about get my mental health back to almost normal. In the process, my equipment has been shipped off into storage units somewhere (I do not drive, have no income - govt being an absolute NIGHTMARE what with my inability to travel, and them unwilling to SANELY process my claim for UK "Universal Credit"), so I am here with my parents right now, have been since July, zero income, and a few boxes of my bits and bobs.

Long story short, I have managed to find my JYETech scopes - "DSO Shell" and "DSO112a", but neither have probes with them (they are in storage - and inaccessible for now).

I am trying to keep my mind occupied, mental health has suffered a lot. My appeal is this - can anyone spare some basic 1x/10x scope probes (BNC ends) and maybe post them to me, within the UK? I am not one to ask such things usually, but I am the kind of chap who likes to help others, and would gladly do the same if someone else was in this situation.

No pressure, no guilt, but I have no income - LITERALLY none - and no way to pay you. If you are willing to do this, I would be most grateful indeed to you, but if not, no worries.

Take it easy have a lovely day.

Matthew.

Assume you just need 2 probes (x1,x10)?  Send me a private message with your address and consider it sorted.
Disclaimer: I have worked for Pico Technology for over 30 years and designed some of their early oscilloscopes.

We are always recruiting talented hardware and software engineers! Happy to answer Pico related questions when time permits but here as electronics is a hobby
