10 turn pot on an Instek GFG-8255A
« on: October 23, 2014, 01:52:49 am »
I just received an Instek GFG-8255A I got off ebay. It's a little beat up but the price was ok. Was testing it today and noticed it is nearly impossible to get a specific frequency out of it in some of the ranges because it's extremely touchy.
Has anyone here ever substituted the stock pot for a 10 turn pot. I imagine it should be rather simple but  just a noob at this so it would be good to hear someone with more experience.
