I've seen that enclosure before, but I don't know who, if anyone reputable, makes it.

pactec and hammond are two good choices
I have more incomplete projects than I have digits and toes.

You won't find that exact enclosure, but they do make decent desktop instrument enclosures. http://www.pactecenclosures.com/product-detail.php?productid=54&seriesid=44&classid=26
I just thought I'd bring it to your attention since I can't help you directly.
I doubt that particular enclosure is from a high-quality manufacturer, but either way there's a chance that the manufacturer name will appear on the inside of the enclosure unless the reseller has etched it away. (I see on eBay that there are some embossed words blurred out in one of the photos.)
I have more incomplete projects than I have digits and toes.

Well,
the embossed name is of the reselling in the pic .I got mine from this fellow -> http://www.ebay.com/itm/130711635418?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649 .The Pactec are so aweful looking in comparision to this one.Might be some chinese EEVblog user can shed some light  .

I can't say I disagree about your synopsis of PacTec, lol; I just think they make okay stuff for the price. Better than those black ABS boxes you get at Radioshack around here.
The section of Dave's wiki referring to enclosure manufacturers has been defaced for awhile (with spam), but if you go back in the history: http://www.eevblog.com/wiki/index.php?title=Enclosure_Manufacturers&oldid=289

Eh? http://www.enclosures.com.cn/en_index.php

Well, if you look at the images from the e-bay seller, it doesn't look to shabby. Metal inserts for the screws (better to see on the white version)

And what looks like an acceptable assembly instruction and individual packaging:

I'll tell ya, i bought a pretty big case for 3$ (normal price!) that somehow looked the one dave used on his lab PSU (The big one, of course) and it came with threaded metal inserts!

I suppose you're right. I've purchased components from the eBay reseller I found when looking at the case, "Electronics Salon", before, and I remember being happy. I've even come across this case on my own, but decided it cost too much (and I didn't need it). I'm also not a huge fan of the styling, but it looks like a rather functional case. I think I have some bias against glossy black plastic.

Glossy black plastic is a no-no to me. Everytime i get one i turn them matte (sanding them  :P) or i repaint them (Can spray-painting glossy boxes is a horrible idea ...)

I think my hate for glossy black plastic comes from the era of the iPod Video. I didn't own one, but I highly resented the fact that Apple sold a product whose case is as soft as butter.

Prices are all going to be more than $25 though.

Electronic-Salon prices aren't that bad when you factor in shipping costs. Even from Hong Kong, large packages aren't cheap to ship.

Have you looked at TEKO enclosures?
http://www.teko.it/en/home
They are well built, and less expensive than other European products, but not so cheap than the Chinese ones...
This series is similar to the one you are searching:

Nice find! Often not very easy to find the manufacturer of a made-in-china product.
Was the search worthwhile, pricewise?

Spikee, what sort of quantity was that price for? (and do they have a min order qty?)  Also do you know what sort of shipping cost you're looking at?

At that price, I'm sure a number of people here would be very interested...

They have no minimum order quantity and the price is for 1 pcs .
Shipping goes via dhl  (or any other shipping company if you desire) .
They will sell you one case to a container. Ordering goes via email and they won't hesitate to send you a couple free samples if you pay for the shipping. Just send them an email (they know english :@ ) and they will answer all your questions.
